Stewart Barclay, as the Chief Operating Officer at Perimeter, has been a pivotal figure in steering the company towards new heights of operational excellence and growth since his joining in 2012. With a diverse background in commercial real estate spanning the UK and Canada, Stewart brings a unique global perspective to his role.

After graduating from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, Stewart kickstarted his career in consulting and appraisal at Colliers International. His move to North America in the late 1990s marked a significant expansion in his expertise, encompassing commercial real estate investment sales, asset management, debt and equity financing, and development across firms like Colliers, Agellan Capital, and First Gulf Corporation.

At Perimeter, Stewart  oversees a dynamic team responsible for accounting and finance, property operations, asset management, and development underwriting. 

As a dedicated member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Stewart is actively involved in mentoring candidate members, helping them achieve the high standards of professionalism required to become chartered surveyors. This role underscores his commitment to the development of the industry and the nurturing of future professionals.

Craig is a founding partner and the Chief Executive Officer of Perimeter. He leads Perimeter’s team across all stages of development, from acquisition through successful and award-winning completed projects. 

For twenty-five-years, Craig has been in the development business, most recently at First Gulf Corporation, where he took on progressively senior leasing and development roles. 

A graduate of Brock University, Craig actively contributes to shaping the region and supporting the community with various local partners.

David, a visionary city builder and founding partner at Perimeter, has been pivotal in shaping the Waterloo region through innovative developments and the revitalization of historic properties. His strategic vision and leadership have significantly grown the company’s portfolio, positioning Perimeter as a leader in the region.

With over fifty years of distinguished experience in real estate development and commercial construction, David’s career spans senior executive leadership and director roles across various sectors. He has played a crucial role in the acquisition and assembly of mixed-use and lifestyle developments in New York, Florida, and Texas, demonstrating a keen eye for transformative projects.

As the CEO of First Gulf Corporation from 1990 to 2010, David spearheaded the company’s early growth phases, turning it into one of Canada’s foremost commercial construction and development firms. Under his guidance, First Gulf Corporation expanded its footprint, now boasting over $5 billion in developed properties—a testament to his foresight and business acumen.

A proud graduate of Sir Wilfred Laurier University, he serves on the Advisory Committee of Harbour High Yield Mortgage Investment Trust and continues to be actively involved with several arts and philanthropic associations.

Curtis, the Executive Vice President of Leasing and Acquisitions at Perimeter Development, has been a key figure in the company’s growth since joining as a partner in 2020. His expertise lies in sourcing and structuring exceptional real estate opportunities, playing a crucial role in expanding Perimeter’s portfolio.

Before joining Perimeter, Curtis served as Vice President at Colliers, where he specialized in investment sales, contributing to transactions across a variety of markets and asset classes. His background provides Perimeter extensive experience in leasing, valuation, acquisitions and dispositions. 

At the University of Waterloo, he was awarded the Roger and Mary Moser Scholarship for combined academic and athletic excellence, along with the Waterloo Warrior Excellence Award as the most highly ranked student athlete and was an All-Canadian. In 2022, Curtis had the honour of being inducted into the University of Waterloo Athletics Hall of Fame.
